The sooner that you know what and how your partner thinks the better it will be for your relationship. It’s always a good idea to communicate your intentions from the beginning instead of in the middle of the relationship so you both know where you’re going.

Resentment is the quickest way to end a dating relationship. If one of you is resenting wasting your time dating, this will drive a wedge in the relationship. An equally destructive force is for one of you to feel like you are being pressured into taking the next step. This is why communication is the key to successful relationships. You need be honest and up front with the other person to avoid resentment or unforgiveness to settle in.

It is important that you know where you stand in your dating relationship. As soon as you feel that you have moved into that committed zone, talk about it. Find out where both of you stand on commitment and dating and especially marriage.
